Blue outdoor pillows
Blue is the colour people reach for outdoors more than any other, and there is a reason: it sits under an open sky without arguing with it, and it reads as cool on a hot afternoon. From pale sky through to deep navy, it works against green planting, grey stone and pale timber alike.
All printed into 100% spun polyester on both sides. UV-resistant, water-resistant and mildew-resistant, finished with a sewn seam closure.
Choosing a shade
Navy gives weight and holds its colour longest in strong sun. Mid blue is the flexible one, working with both warm and cool furniture. Pale and sky blues feel light and coastal but need something darker nearby, or a group of them disappears into the background from a distance.

Does blue fade in the sun?
The polyester is UV-resistant and the design is printed into the fibre. Deeper navy holds noticeably longer than very pale blue, as it does in any fabric.
Does blue work with rattan furniture?
Very well, particularly mid and navy blue against natural or grey-washed rattan. Blue and white together is the classic pairing there.
What pairs with blue?
White and cream for a coastal look, sand and terracotta for something warmer, green for a planted garden. Blue and yellow is the pairing that reads brightest in summer.
