Every lumbar pillow here is made from 100% spun polyester, UV-resistant and water-resistant, printed on both sides so it looks finished however it lands. The sewn seam closure means no zip to rust or catch, and the sturdy fill keeps the shape through a summer of use.

Where a lumbar works best

Deep seats are where it earns its place: Adirondack chairs, rattan sofas, porch swings, rocking chairs, garden benches. The long rectangle also suits a bench that would look crowded with two squares. A common arrangement is one lumbar centred with a square at each end, which fills a three-seat sofa without hiding it.
