Outdoor pillows built to live outside
An outdoor pillow has one job an indoor cushion never has to do: survive. Sun, sprinklers, dew, a forgotten afternoon in the rain. Every pillow here is made from 100% spun polyester and printed directly into the fabric, so the colour is part of the cloth rather than a layer sitting on top of it. That is why the print stays sharp when the sun works on it all summer.
Each pillow is UV-resistant, water-resistant and mildew-resistant, printed on both sides, and finished with a sewn seam closure. The spun polyester fill holds its shape and does not wrinkle, so a pillow that has been sat on all afternoon looks right again by evening.
Choosing a size
There are two shapes. The 18" x 18" square is the standard and suits most patio chairs and outdoor sofas. The 20" x 14" lumbar is the one to reach for on a deeper seat, where a square pushes you forward and a lumbar supports your back instead. One lumbar with two squares is the arrangement that reads as finished on almost any bench or sofa.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you order.
Can outdoor pillows get wet?
Yes. The fabric is water-resistant and will not be damaged by rain or sprinklers. It is water-resistant rather than waterproof, so after a real soaking stand the pillow on its edge to drain and let it air-dry fully before storing it.
Are outdoor pillows resistant to fading?
These are. The polyester is UV-resistant and the design is printed directly into the fibre, which is what keeps colours vivid through a full season of sun. Deep saturated shades will always hold longer than very pale ones.
Can outdoor pillows stay outside all year round?
They handle weather well, but they last considerably longer if you bring them in over winter or store them in a deck box. Constant damp with no chance to dry is what shortens a pillow's life, not the cold.
